I’ve always believed that a beautiful home is gathered over time, not bought all at once.

Growing up, I was surrounded by beautiful pieces. My Mum had a wonderful eye for finding unique treasures and our home was always filled with things that has been chosen with care. It wasn’t a home that was perfectly styled or filled with the latest trends, but a home that felt welcoming, meaningful and truly lived in.

Looking back, that’s where my love for beautiful, timeless pieces began.

When I got married and began creating a home of my own, I found myself drawn to the same philosophy- curating pieces with character, craftsmanship and lasting beauty. What began as a personal passion gradually became a calling: to help others create homes that feel intentional, collected and deeply personal.

In a world that often feels busy, noisy and rushed our homes should be a place that restores us. I believe that the objects we chose to live with matters. They shape the way a space feels, the memories we create within it, and the stories we carry forward.

And that’s how Umber and Oak came to life.

Everything I choose for Umber & Oak is something I genuinely love and would happily have in my own home. I’m drawn to character, warmth and timeless design — the kind of finds that feel special from the moment you see them.
